So, a chop, a phone, and a reservior, walk into a bar...

Well howdy doo!

The other day, Cliff got his a "chop". A chop is a stamp with your chinese name on it, and it is used to sign contracts and admin forms (instead of a signature). The owner of my school created my chinese name for me. The three symbols say something like "Ka" "lee" "F", so that it sounds like "Cliff" when you read it.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? no, its Tim holding his jacket up.
Today, he was enjoying the warmth of his red jacket, because it recently flew here all the way from SA. On Saturday, last weekend, we went to the botanical gardens in Hsinchu, and had a little stroll on the paths.

This video is about the "stony health paths" in the parks of Taiwan.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

When the jungle calls, answer it!

On Sunday, last weekend, we scootered north west for about 1.5 hours to find a dam beautiful reservoir named Shihmen. Steph (who teaches at the international school in Hsinchu) went along with us.

The sun glistened off the water, like rays of light reflecting off a Shihmen reservoir.

We took a boat ride up the river, while eating our our "fish balls", and "potato surprise". We nearly had the whole boat to ourselves, and it was splendid sunny super malt day.

Aaah the Serenity! at the Shihmen reservoir.

We stopped at some blooming flowers for a quick photo shoot on the way home.
Thanks for reading.
Cliff and Tim
